Chun Mee means "precious eyebrow," named for the curve of the leaf. This organic green tea from south-eastern China, near the Yangtze River, has a tangy aroma and a touch of sweetness, and it's a lovely place to start if you're curious what green tea can really taste like. If it's stronger than you like, pour off the first steep and enjoy the milder second.
Steeping: 1-2 level tsp | 8 oz water | 175°F | 2-3 min.
